At SOUL ROC Foundation, we believe these moments have the power to transform lives, strengthen communities, and build bridges across cultures.
Our mission is to create opportunities for children and families to play, create, learn, heal, and thrive—beginning in Aquin, Haiti, and Fresno, California.
Our Mission
SOUL ROC Foundation exists to share our universal language through sport, movement, music, creativity, and education, empowering children and communities to discover their voice, their purpose, and each other.
We believe the world’s greatest connections aren’t always spoken. By creating opportunities to play, create, learn, heal, and thrive, we help build confident leaders and stronger communities.
Our Story
SOUL ROC Foundation has lived in my heart since 2015.
While attending my first training camp with the Haiti Women’s National Team, I watched players who had been cut from the roster quietly leave their cleats behind before heading home.
That pile of cleats has never left me.
To many people, they were simply used shoes.
To me, they represented opportunity.
Since then, I’ve dreamed of creating a place where every child feels seen, heard, valued, and supported.
Soccer has taken me around the world and taught me something powerful:
‘I speak fluent soccer.’
Dance became another universal language. After losing both my father and my husband, dance became part of my healing journey.
Those experiences shaped the heart of SOUL ROC because connection doesn’t always begin with conversation.

Our Dream
We envision SOUL ROC as a bridge between Aquin, Haiti, and Fresno, California.
One day children will have access to safe places to play, music and creative arts, inspiring teachers, healthcare, clean water, nutritious meals, leadership opportunities, and a community that believes in them.
At the center will be Jim’s Bistro, named in honor of my father—a place of welcome, nourishment, and belonging.
